Sims 3: Legacy of Jon Grey Part 4

Jon finally got himself some woohoo with Betty, nailing her in the fire station shower.
When you're fire chief, you can do whatever you want.
Later he porks Betty again at her place.

Jon may have to get used to living alone with stray cats.  The game has totally fucked him now with the ladies.  Both Betty and the new hottie at work have aged up to elders. That renders them useless for having kids and extending the legacy.  Jon will have to start over from scratch when it comes to hooking up.

Sims 3: Legacy of Jon Grey Part 3

Jon continues to be promoted at the Fire Station. With his new wealth, he's bought himself a crappy car.  Shitty wheels are better than no wheels.
A new face arrives at the Fire House. A face Jon Grey finds blindingly stunning. He does his best to make friends before work commitments whisk her away.
Jon went to this chick's party. It sucked balls. All they did was stand around outside in the rain.
Jon doing some after hours tinkering on the Station's computer. He's a little out of uniform. He basically runs the place, so I suppose he doesn't give a shit.
He's also been upgrading the shit receptacles at work.
Betty's house caught fire, and our hero was there to save it.
Jon throws himself a birthday party at some hipster joint.  He invites a few co workers over.
Including Betty, who he is still in love with.
Once she arrives, he forgets all the other guests and dances the night away. As a result, his party sucks and the other people piss off.
Jon transitions from young adult, to mature adult, with only one thing on his mind...

They've progressed to the "in love" stage, but so far haven't broken out into wild upside down panda sex yet.

Maybe next update...

Sims 3: Legacy of Jon Grey Part 2

Jon's been putting his handiness skills to good use.   He's repairing the crap that constantly breaks, and upgrading things to be self-cleaning or fireproof.
He continues to excel at his job, and is now Fire Chief.

Jon having a pillow fight with Betty at the fire station.  It looks like a Chris Brown moment, but it was quite playful in reality.
Jon visits Betty at her home, and gets his first kiss.
He was hoping for a bit of nookie, but had to settle for a cuddle.
 Nope, not even after flowers...

Jon takes Betty on a date to the movies. Afterwards they hang out and watch the street lights. I mean, stars.  The date didn't go too well, and Jon and Betty briefly lost their friendship status.
Mr. Grey decides it might be smart to keep his options open, and meets some new people outside the book store. He takes a liking to Silver and the two go on a date later.
Silver takes him to the graveyard. Funny choice for a first date.  On the date Jon discovers that Silver is in a relationship with some other dude named Dennis.   Looks like Jon has been friend-zoned.
Oh well. Jon goes home to study the art of picking up chicks.
It didn't work. A friendly hand shake is all he got from her.
Jon fixed a TV for his rather effeminate looking work mate. Always good to pick up a few extra bucks when you're just starting out.  He used the money to help purchase a dart board.

So our legacy hero has had a few ups and downs on this update.  Things seemed to be going well with Betty, then kind of crashed for a bit. She can be a bit hard to hook up with due to her working hours. Will Jon continue to pursue Betty, or will he keep looking?

Sims 3: Legacy of Jon Grey Part 1

I've decided to start a new Sims 3 project before I get sick of the game and quit playing it.  This time around I want to do a "Legacy" family.   I've read some "Legacy" rules online, and they sound interesting, but I don't want to do it like that.

First of all, it doesn't seem very realistic. Those rules want you to buy the biggest, most expensive plot of land available, leaving you with only a few bucks left to spend to build a house, furnish it etc.

Makes for a good challenge, yes, but who in real life starts off their adult life with a huge block of land, but essentially homeless? A lot of people start off in a crappy house, in a dodgy neighbourhood, without a lot of nice things furnishing their homes. This is how I decided to start my Legacy.

Using the "Twinbrook" neighbourhood, I purchased a cheap, small plot of land.  I used the "kaching" cheat enough to build him a one storey house, and furnish it with cheap basics.  The house started off unpainted and without wall paper as well.

Another thing I've done is occasionally cheat with his needs. I was finding that he simply did not have time to take care of himself, go to work, clean up his shit, and be social.  He barely had time to eat and bathe. His energy and social levels were constantly bottoming out.  The energy bar I cheat with the most.  I haven't touched the social bar at all.

I still make him sleep at night, but I'll give him an energy boost if I want him to go on a date after work for example.

With that out of the way, let's meet our legacy character...

This is Jon Grey, a recent immigrant to the town of Twinbrook.  He's built an ugly, but modest house for himself.  Jon has three top priorities at the moment. His first priority is to find himself a job. Secondly, Jon would love to find a bride.  Lastly, Jon wants to improve the quality of his life.
Jon mets his first sim, Betty.  He finds her stunningly attractive, even though she lacks a sense of humour. They only briefly chat at this stage.  Jon has a few other things he needs to take care of first.
Such as skinny dipping in the public pool with this chick. Another woman joined them soon after, but the party ended for Jon when some naked dude jumped in too.
Jon's lifetime dream is to become a Fire Fighter Super Hero by saving 30 Sim lives.  Here he is arriving at the fire station to apply for a job.  He's quickly hired and told to show up for work the next day.
Jon on the way to his first day at work.
Waiting for emergencies can be dull, so Jon stays in shape by pumping some iron.
 The first call out!
Just a minor house fire this time. I don't think the fire shows up in my game because I'm using the censorship mosaic remover mod.  Too bad, but I can't stand the censorship.
Jon keeps his fire engine in top shape.

Jon's first date with Betty, who is actually one of his fellow fire fighters. They're getting to know each other better, and Betty has sent Jon a love letter.

He's doing really well at work. Jon's been receiving A's and B's on his performance reviews, and has been quickly advancing up the ranks.  Starting to look more like a hero there Jon!

Jon is off to a promising start. He's got a job he likes doing, and is starting to get to know a potential wife.  He's painted most of his house now, and purchased a washing machine and clothesline.

What does the near future hold for Jon Grey?

The Sims 3 Big Brother: Week 7 Finale

It's time for the finale of The Sims 3 Big Brother.

This week the last 2 house mates were challenged to sell the most money's worth of paintings.

Michal and Ashley hate the crap out of each other. When they weren't painting, pooping, or plating up waffles, they were arguing and getting slapped.

So yeah, pretty boring on the social scene, so let's just wrap this up.

Final Results of the Challenge:

Ashley sold 5 paintings for a total of $223.

Michal sold 6 paintings for a total of $406.

Michal Simpson is the winner of this week's challenge, and also the WINNER OF BIG BROTHER.

IT'S TIME TO GO: Ashley Bamford...

Congratulations to that oh most evil of pricks, Michal Simpson.

"This is my house... If you don't like it, get the fuck out."

So concludes my Sims 3 Big Brother experiment.  Started out as a good idea, but got really dull after the first 2-3 game weeks.  I wish there was more variety with their actions, and that the mundane stuff was quicker to get through.

Thanks for reading.

The Sims 3 Big Brother: Week 6

It's field trip weekend at the Big Brother House.  All week the house mates sat at home, doing the normal everyday boring crap they always do.  On Saturday they got to go to the Summer Festival.

The challenge this week was to see which sim could build the most relationship points with sims they hadn't already met.

Ashley runs into a familiar face. Former house mate Katja Vogel is now working the snack counter at the summer festival.
Ashley kicks off festivities with a bit of soccer practice.
Michal destroyed August in a hot dog eating contest.  Odd, I would have guessed August would have been better at eating wieners.
The She-Ogre returns to stalk Ashley. I see it has evolved to become more mobile.
 GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
All three housemates spent most of the day on the skating rink.
Here Ashley skates with yet another former house mate, Jo Jordan.

Jo seems glad to be reunited with Michal.

This weirdo shows up to chat with Ashley, the first time all day the house mates interact with a new sim.
Looks like fun, but it isn't helping any of them out with this week's challenge.

Ashley's on a roll with meeting new people.
Michal enters another hot dog eating contest, alongside former house mate Novel Galkin.  This time, he fails to pound down enough weiners to win.

In the evening, the sims are treated to a night at a karaoke show.

Hair-Less Potter takes a ride on his flying vacuum cleaner. Which he looted from the She-Ogre's hoard.
The other house mates took a cab.
August watches the show with Chuck Norris' gay grandson.
While Michal catches yellow fever on the dance floor.

On Sunday, the house mates were sent to spend the day at the local saloon. A perfect opportunity to get drunk and ogle big-breasted leather-wearing bar maids.

But some of the house mates aren't interested in big-breasted wenches. Here August chats up the bar man, but homey don't play that.

One gin and tonic away from dancing on a table.

Michal making friends with this chick. The only sim who seems to know what this week's challenge is all about.
These two don't seem to be enjoying each other's company.
Finally some tig ol bitties and leather!

After a fun weekend outside the Big Brother house, the sims retreat back home for eviction.

Ashley started off well, meeting a few new people, but she never really got to know any of them very well.

Michal on the other hand, seemed determined to chat up every hottie he could find, and he did it pretty well.

August actually went NEGATIVE on relationships with the people he met.

This week's challenge winner, by a huge margin, is Michal Simpson.

TIME FOR THE EVICTION

This one is pretty obvious.  For absolutely sucking this week, and going negative in points...

IT'S TIME TO GO: August Knudsen

Taking his last poop in Big Brother's toilet.

There's only two house mates remaining. Ashley and Michal, two sims who hate each other. Could be a week of arguments and bitch slapping ahead!

Next week is the finale. The challenge will be similar to the painting challenge of week one, but this time around, whoever makes the most money selling art wins. In the case of no paintings being sold, the winner will be whoever levels up their painting skill the most.  Get to selling!
